How to Use an AirBNB Template?

If you’ve just purchased a Canva template—great! Now it’s time to make it your own. Whether you want to customize the design with your own content or download it for printing, this step-by-step guide walks you through everything.

1. Open Your Canva Template

After your purchase, you should have received a link to access the template.

  1. Click the template link.
  2. It will open in Canva.
  3. Select “Use Template” to save a copy to your Canva account.

2. Customize the Content

Once your copy is open, you can edit anything—text, colors, photos, fonts, layout, shapes, and more.

Editing Text

  • Click any text box.
  • Type in your own words.
  • Use the top toolbar to change font style, size, or color.

Changing Images

  • Click an image.
  • Press Delete or drag a new image from the Uploads or Photos panel on the left.
  • Drag and drop images into frames to replace them instantly.

Adjusting Colors

  • Click the element you want to recolor.
  • Use the color picker in the top toolbar.
  • Update the entire color palette using Styles (if included in your template).

Moving or Replacing Elements

  • Drag elements to rearrange layout.
  • Delete items you don’t need.
  • Duplicate elements for consistency.

3. Review for Print or Use

Before downloading:

  • Double-check spelling and wording.
  • Make sure all photos and graphics look sharp.
  • Ensure important elements stay within print-safe margins (if provided).
  • Check alignment and spacing for a clean, professional look.

4. Download Your Finished Design

When you’re ready:

  1. Click Share (top right).
  2. Select Download.
  3. Choose your preferred format:

For Printing

  • PDF Print (best quality)
  • Check Crop Marks and Bleed if your design requires edge-to-edge printing.

For Digital Use

  • PNG for high-quality images
  • JPG for smaller, web-friendly files
  • PDF Standard for sharing online
  1. Click Download and save it to your device.

5. Print Your Design

If you’re printing at home—use high-quality paper and your printer’s best settings.

If you’re printing professionally—upload the PDF Print file to your chosen print shop’s website or bring it on a USB drive.
